With construction due to begin in the beginning of 2017, the 154-dwelling apartment residence will be developed by Melbourne based company OpenCorp, and designed to suit owner-occupiers, seeking generously sized apartments and an appreciation for art deco interior design.
Allister Lewison at OpenCorp believes the location of DECO Residences is ideal.
The property features a timeless, curving façade spread over two, six and seven-storey buildings inspired by the White Cliffs of Dover on the English coastline along with the iconic art-deco period. The interior of each apartment will include fixtures, fittings and finishes reminiscent of the deco style. The addition of modern engineered timber floorboards and high-end kitchen appliances bring a contemporary touch.
“The vast array of floor plans and customisable interior palettes available in Deco showcases our commitment to creating unique developments as original as its residents,” Mr Lewison said. Each apartment features a car park and storage space along with recreational communal areas such as a pool and garden. A display suite is now open at 17-35 Dover Street, Albion from 9am to 5pm daily.
